The people of Taiwan are flesh and blood compatriots of people in the mainland. Protecting the just and legal rights and interests of Taiwan compatriots in foreign countries is the consistent policy of the Chinese government, and is also the unshakable duty of the Chinese embassies and consulates stationed in foreign countries. The embassies and consulates have done a lot of useful work in serving Taiwan compatriots wholeheartedly and protecting their legal rights and interests are violated, relevant embassies and consulates will treat them equally without discrimination as compatriots from the mainland to render active protection.
